Delivery & Shipping

We strive to bring you the best possible deals and that includes making every effort to keep the cost of deliveries as low as possible; our delivery charges are:

UK Mainland (excl Highlands & Islands, the Channel Islands and Northern Ireland and Collect & Return service)
Orders under £75 - & Small Jiffy * £3.95
Orders under £75 - Parcel < 10kg * £6.95 *
Orders under £75 - Parcel > 10kg Please See *


* UK Mainland Only (see below for postcodes that we classify as UK Mainland), excludes Highlands & Islands, the Channel Islands and Northern Ireland, which are charged at £20.00, however small orders e.g. jiffy bags are sent by UK Royal Mail at the rate quoted above but this excludes hazardous goods which cannot be sent via UK Royal Mail and must be sent via courier. In all cases we aim to only charge the delivery and packing cost that we incur.

Mainland UK addresses, i.e. excluding ‘Highlands & Islands’ are: all postcodes located in England and Wales plus the following post code areas beginning with DD, DG, EH, FK, G, KA (but not KA27 or KA28), KY, ML, TD, AB1-AB16, AB21-AB24, AB30, AB39, PA1-PA19 and PH1-PH3.

* Anchors, Flares and other dangerous, very heavy (greater than 10kg) or oversized or fragile goods are always charged at cost, irrespective of the value of the order and any promotional delivery rates that are quoted – please contact us to confirm applicable delivery charges before completing your order. We will always contact you to confirm delivery charges before accepting and processing your order.
 

Public Holidays

We don't work on public holidays (and nor do our couriers). So please allow an extra day for delivery. Around Christmas and New Year, deliveries can also take a little longer than expected.


Overseas Deliveries:

All Overseas deliveries are charged at cost price. The delivery charge is dependant upon the items required, dimensions and weight of the parcel. Please contact us to confirm applicable delivery charges. We will always contact you to confirm delivery charges before processing your order.

We reserve the right not to accept orders for certain products that we are restricted from delivering overseas, for example; glues, solvent based products e.g. solvent/primers, paints, antifouling, selected electronic equipment etc. Please contact us prior to placing your order to check if a product is restricted from overseas shipping.

Delivery Timescales

Most items are kept in stock and ready to ship. When you order before 3pm on weekdays, we are usually able to ship same day for next working day delivery.

We always do our best to get your UK order to you within 3-4 working days but occasionally goods are not in stock, we will always contact you to advise you that an item is not in stock and to ask if you are happy to wait for delivery of the out-of-stock item or if you would prefer a refund.

Signing for your Delivery

Many couriers require you to sign for safe receipt of your goods otherwise the courier will not leave the parcel at your delivery address. Please ensure that you will be present to sign for your delivery or state an alternative delivery address when you place your order e.g. your workplace.
